London is a city known for its glitz and glamour as well as its cultural heritage. With the UK birthing some of the best artists, musicians, actors and many of the most likely to get pap snapped, it’s no surprise that walking down the South Bank or peaking your head out of your room in the Park Grand Hotel Hyde Park, you’re bound to catch someone famous. With boroughs such as Highgate and Notting Hill housing some of the biggest celebrities out there, it’s no surprise that many people come to London with the hope of a bit of celebrity spotting. Below is a list of some of the most famous and unexpected celebrities who you’ll find living in London.

Harry Styles

Harry Styles, world renowned superstar of the boyband One Direction and a singer in his own right has been reported to have bought a 3 million residence around the Primrose Hill area. Maybe if you’re lucky during a walk up the hill, you’ll get more than just a stunning view of the London skyline, and maybe you’ll also get a view of the curly haired heart throb as well!

James Corden

The English comedian, TV personality, and now US talk show host has a long history of being one of the most memorable and charismatic faces on television. If you’re looking for a sneaky sighting of Corden in his antural habitat, your best bet is to try the West Hampstead area of London. This upmarket area is located near Hampstead Heath and is known for being the go to area for many well-known faces in front of and behind the camera. Whilst you’re there, have a look around the high street for some great charity shop finds and great dining experiences.

David and Victoria Beckham

Although they’ve recently moved to Gloucestershire and have another property in LA, the high-profile Beckham family lived in their West London mansion, on the same street as Richard Branson for over three years. The couple are known for their independent roles as Spice Girl and model and world class footballer respectively, and have both found new business ventures as they move forward into parenthood and into their 40’s.

Ricky Gervais

Ricky Gervais and his partner have lived in their North London based mansion for about 2 years. According to the Daily Mail, their house has its own tennis court and even a gym room, hinting at the former cringe inducing Office sitcom star being on a fitness regime. The stunning house certainly looks the part, and if you’re in the Highgate area, it’s worth looking into.

Bill Nighy

Well known for his roles in films such as The Boat That Rocked, Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, Bill Nighy is a British actor who was famously late in life to fame but found a dry wit and humour that brought his magnetism back time and time again to the screen. Living in North London in the Kentish Town area, you can chance a sighting whilst also enjoying the sights and sounds of Camden.
