St Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival

The St Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival will feature parades, floats, dance troupes, and traditional music, guaranteed to provide a good-natured party vibe! On 17th March, the parade route will begin at Hyde Park Corner and pass through Piccadilly at around midday, attracting around 50,000 people every year! Head of the River Race 2024

Get ready to witness a thrilling competition between the world's best rowing teams as London’s Head of the River Race competition is held in March, this year. A total of 400 teams of eight, race each other along the Thames Championship Course from Mortlake to Putney, and the fastest team to complete the course wins. The event has grown since 1926 when only 21 teams participated from Cambridge and Tideway oarsmen. Now, a whopping 3,750 competitors, including 50-60 teams from overseas, participate.

P.S. The best places to watch the race are Hammersmith Bridge or Putney Embankment where you can also enjoy refreshments while spectating!
